Anastacia was called to the healing arts in 2001. Nearing her graduation in her exercise science degree, she was introduced to the ayurvedic studies of using essential oils, herbs, and self care modalities like massage to heal and balance the body. She describes her draw toward it as intoxicating. The minute she graduated u of d, she attended dawn training institute and she became a licensed massage therapist.
As her first interest was exercise science and very medically oriented, she wanted to work with injuries to become masterful at healing the physical body. During this time she realized she would need more skills and earned a master's certification in myofascial release and structural integration from Mount Nittany School of healing arts, and describes this as the foundation of her practice. For the next 20 years and over 25,000 hours of practice, she would incorporate new modalities viewing the body as physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, creating the ultimate experience for her clients on the table.
